Default Rack Mount Blu-ray Player?

Anyone heard of a Rack Mount Blu-Ray Player in the marketplace or even just an adapter? The only option I could find is an HTPC (something like this http://www.alienware.com/product_det..._features.aspx but that price is outta-control and outta-my-league)

I am putting together my backyard theater and have a passive amp rack and xlr decoder/pre amp specked. Wish I could sneak my source component into the rack with the following equipment.

Preamp: Denon DN-A7100 http://www.d-mpro.com/users/folder.a...214&Tab=Images
AMP Front R&L: Crown XLS 802 500W/ch @ 8 ohms
AMP Rear R&L: Crown XLS 202 200W/ch @ 8 ohms
AMP Center: Crown XLS 202 600W bridged mono @ 8 ohms
AMP Sub: Crown XTi 1000 1,400W bridged mono @ 4 ohms

Default Rack Mounting

Middle Atlantic make racking and shelving for racks.
They make shelves with custom face plates cut for components, as well as coming with hold down straps.
Find a dealer in your area, tell him what blu player you are using and a shelf can be ordered. Takes about 2 weeks should be less than $200

Default Thank You

The site can be a little hard to navigate.
I mentioned the shelves with custom face plates, but you can get just shelves as well. I ordered rack rails that I installed in my cabinet to hold my stuff. You will need to work with a dealer to get stuff but the web site has contact info and they will tell you who can help you where you live.
Again Thanks
Mike

Ps My dream system is a rack of Crown DC-300's you have good taste

MPDIEHL -

The site is a little rough, but I am so happy I now have an option. Thanks for the compliment!

\rant on Crown amps > most others! \rant off

As I said in my first post this is for my outdoor 'drive in' and it really has different requirements than I would place on an indoor system. I designed the system so I could have all short runs of interconnects in a rack that I could keep safe from the elements. The outdoor thing is interesting if not challenging. I've always used watts as in indoor system benchmark, outside with no reflections and lots of interference the measuring stick has turned to db spl instead. Also with this system I won’t be placing amps in the elements and having to run power to the speakers (and as a side bonus if a speaker goes bad, it is cheaper to replace.) I plan to use outdoor rated extension cords as my speaker cables as well. I have a 4000 lumen BenQ 720p PJ and a 8.5 x 14 truss style screen. I cannot wait to finish the sound and fire it up!

My indoor system is as follows:

Pre Rotel RSP1069
Amp Rotel RMB1075
Monitor Elite Pro150FD
Mains & Center Phase Tech PC 3.1
Surrounds Phase Tech CI-60 VIII
Sub JL Audio F113
Input Cox HD DVR, iPod 60GB, PS3, DVD Rotel RDV1050
Outdoor Stereo Rotel RX1052 & B&W WM6

P.S. My name is phraak and I have a problem (and I can't even keep it hidden indoors anymore) - LOL

Dude I love it! That sub really made a difference - I replaced a ksw-15 and this bad boy really hits low, and the auto room config made it sound so sweet.

17hz reveals all the shaky rattles and jingly stuff in my house. It makes a closet door in the front room hum like some kids trunk lid. (i put weather strippin in to stop that!)

If I'm in the wrong thread, please redirect.
I have on '04 Airstream Travel Trailer, the OEM 19" TV was in the front center overhead, a custom enclosure from Airstream. I took that out and put a 37in HDTV on the credenza below. I'd like to turn the area that housed the TV into a place for the surround amp, Blue-Ray Player, HDDVR, and center speaker. It seems a "rack mount" would be perfect for an RV. at the moment the cabinet is slightly larger than a 19" Sony tube TV, I have a good carpenter to modify it, but where could I get a small rack to mount in it?
or would this be very pricey?
I do have a picture I could post if that would help.
Thanks
Dan

Phase Tech...Nice! All three matching up front... Even better! If you have them all vertically oriented - master piece ! Nice system kind sir!!!!! Take some pics and put it in the pics thread! I just love the look of the 3.1's !!!!

Default blue ray custom faceplates

If you can't find the ears for them, you could always mount it in a middle atlantic rsh custom shelf. There are a lot of sellers online, but the only one that I found that sells JUST the faceplate by itself is custom av rack.

Here is the faceplate page: http://customavrack.com/Products/119...aceplates.aspx

This is to the whole shelf: http://customavrack.com/Category/20-...-slim-etc.aspx

they keep a customer database for swapped out faceplates as well.
