Default Blu-ray movie rack?

I'm looking for a simple movie rack. I have roughly about 120 movies and counting. Color scheme would either be birch color or black (the colors of my room).

WalleO has one in this photo: https://images.blu-ray.com/htgallery/15442.jpg

I asked him but he hasn't responded yet. I'm looking for an affordable one also. Anyone know of any good websites for these?

Thanks in advanced.

There is nothing better than a nice looking rack.

Seriously, though. Do you like open concept shelving or a closed enclosure (is that redundant?).

What dimensions do you need to stay within? I would not get one that can hold 120. I would get one that can hold as many as it can in the space you are looking to put it. Also, what budget are you trying to stay within?

Try looking on Amazon - they have some options on there.

Also, you could always go the craigslist route and save some money. I would imagine most DVD racks would suffice for holding Blu-Rays.

Just about 100% of the racks I've seen specifically designed for DVDs, CDs or BDs are ugly. IMO you're better off buying a bookshelf with adjustable shelves. For price and classic look, I recommend the BILLY line at IKEA.

i dont keep my dvds or blus out in the open. too cluttered. i keep them all in a hall closet on a regular book case with adjustable shelves. and if i need to, i add a shelf.

The Benno towers from IKEA are pretty sweet. They come in birch, black, and more.

+1

I've got 6 of them lined up and they look really good! Each one holds 104 Blu's
or 88 DVD's. Ill post a pic tonight... and they are cheaper depending the finish
you pick out. Solid colors are $10 cheaper than wood finishes.

I concur with this statement. Simple by design, modifiable for differing casing sizes, and you can purchase extra shelves to adapt the shelving accordingly. Unfortunately though, they don't well flat black extra shelves for them (at least, not here in Canada. Don't know about the U.S.).

You're looking for additional shelves for an IKEA bookshelf?

No, lol, I bought that table @ Wal-Mart for $15.

What I did eventually was get two of those spinning racks - combine their pieces - so I have one really short one that's two shelves high, and this enormous 2-metre tower that I've dubbed Blauturm:

Thanks! I'm going to pick one up this weekend. I've been looking for a rack for awhile now and that one is perfect.

FYI - those pictures of your set up are amazing

No probs, enjoy it. Just be careful if you ever combine two racks together, - there are some structural regards to consider at the bottom of the tower,

And thanks, Dirk.

I have two Atlantic Elf shelfs. They each can hold around 350 blu-rays. I have this model: http://www.amazon.com/Atlantic-35335596-Titanium-38-5-Inch-CARB/dp/B002K8O5WY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1259625596&sr =8-1

If you look around, they do have smaller models as well. Just search for Atlantic Elf. They all have a black base, silver sides, nice strong aluminum poles to hold the discs, nice locking brackets to hold everything in place. Plus they're stackable. Each section has little interlocking o-rings for nice stable stacking.

I have the same one in Silver. The beauty of it is that you can add to it as needed - I will be purchasing a second unit to cover my Black Friday additions. It is a bit expensive though, web site says $40 here:
