I've never had any problems with it. I have 2 wireless controllers w/recharge cables and battery packs, and 12 games. Marvel UA, GH II, Oblivion, Burnout, Dead Rising, NHL 2K7, Condemned:CO, R6-Vegas, Gears of War, Tomb Raider Legend, COD 3, Spiderman 3. The machine is 2 yrs old, and all game discs in flawless condition.
I want to get at least 600$ for everything to cover the price of PS3 and maybe 1 game. Does this sound like a movable price? |

Why do you want to sell it? It has a far better selection of games now.
And I doubt you'd be able to get $600 for it. A new on will come with a 3 year warranty, which is important. Your's has 1 year left. That probably puts its value closer to $200 (although I've seen units go unbid on for $200). The games you have are a mix of old/new games. You might have some that you'd get something decent for, but even at an average of $30 a game (which may be high), that would be $360. Giving you a total of $560. That's probably best case scenario. |

I want to sell it because I've played and completed these games, and decided I want another blu-ray player for the living room. Using my Samsung 1200 for home theater room. I know PS3 is a little dry right now for games, but some good looking titles should be hitting soon and before Xmas,(Lair, Assassin's Creed) which isn't that long of a wait for me. Being a father of 2 gives me little time to play games right now anyway, so I'll build up my movie collection instead. You estimated $560 which is pretty close to my price. I failed to mention that I live in Canada, and game prices are $60-$70 here( I figured about $40 used, at least for the newer ones), so I didn't think asking $600 is too outrageous.

That's very subjective though. I admit the 360 has some good games out now, but personally, I'm more interested in what Sony has in the pipeline. MGS4, Heavenly Sword, FFXIII, White Knight Chronicles, maybe even Lair (desipite the negative reviews) - those are the games I feel like playing. I have no interest in Bioshock or Mass Effect, and I'll only play Halo 3 online if my friends do. Everything else like DMC4, Resident Evil 5, and Assassin's Creed are multiplatform. Plus I get blu-ray on the PS3. So I have to say from my perspective, I'm a bit envious of my bro's PS3 right now.

Not to mention the fact he is on his THIRD Xbox 360 right now. Though to microsofts credit, they were fast and prompt with Xbox 360 replacement. I was kinda shocked, actualy.
Shido should not care about games at this point, he's gona go studying abroad in Japan. It's no fair I wana go too. ![]() |

i dont think you will get 600 out of it, maybe 400 at the most. People are scared to buy them because of the ring of death plus they can pick a new one for 350 now correct? I would try to sell it on ebay, or try to sell it to a friend

Your xbox 360 lasted 2 years? My bro had two die in less than a year. he is on his third right now, and that one is made in august 2006, which means that it's possible that it may die as well.
To have Xbox that lated that long is worth the $600, for Xbox fans. |

looks like ms are going to be bringing out games that need a hdd, so those who bought a core will either have to buy an expensive drive, or miss out on games. Way to go.

It was dumb for people to buy the core system in first place. Good for them. Why wouldn't you spend the extra $100 towards the HD?

Your logic is flawed. You expect every single consumer to know what the hdd is for? Remember that not everyone is tech savvy. Parents might be buying the console as a present for their kid - how are they supposed to know the hdd *might* become a requirement later? That's ridiculous. If Microsoft begins to make the hdd a requirement in the future, it's gonna just upset a whole lot of people - and given their track record with hardware failures, that's the last thing they need right now.

if MS are willing to upset a large amount of users by making games NEED the hdd, will they make an xbox with the hddvd drive in and release games on hddvd? how far will they go to upset a customer?
