Action/Western Preliminary Poll!! Vote "7" Films Only!! - Blu-ray Forum

Ok here is the Action/Western preliminary poll! Choose the top 7 movies as only 7 will advance. I am gonna have this poll opened for a few days and I will continue to make all of the polls over the next few days so the voting can take place. Remember vote for the 7 u want to see make the tourney. Base it on how u feel. Remember its not best or fav poll, its overall and all up to u! Also remember only actual votes will count so dont just list your picks without voting or your votes wont count!

Also remember that its hard to list every movie in the genre as it would be to long so I am listing based on website hype or recent polls that Ive seen. Remember only top "7" advance anyway so if a movie u recognize isnt on the list then just pick the 7 from what is listed. There are a lot of categories and certain movies can fall under a diff category. Have fun guys! Let keep it goin......Got Em!!

Is Resivior Dogs going to be a movie on any of the lists?

Good list but I can't help feel that there are at least a dozen films missing from the list but I honestly can think of what they are just a feeling there are some really good ones missing.

Those voting for 300 & Transformers should stop no way those are in the top 7 of those listed they're good just not that good.

U are right there are some films missing as in every poll but the main goal is to get the majority of great ones so we can get a great 7. There will always be snubs. Got Em!!

gotta remember... its not really about being the "best" movie... its about your personal reasoning for picking the movie.... Best Movie, personal favorite, replay value etc etc....

Right now I have

Gladiator
3:10 to Yuma
Die Hard
Equilibrium
and Casino Royale for sure.

But in the next few days I'll be seeing the 3 Bourne films to see if any of them make my list instead of say Mission Impossible.

So I'll vote after seeing those.

Surprised to see Rush Hour 1 and 2 here honestly. I always considered them much more comedy than action, guess CZAR thinks differently

Speaking of, is there going to be a comedy poll CZAR?

Edit: Never mind, just checked the rules thread and saw Comedy is next.

Had to make due without some of my favorites as choices. Would like to have seen in the poll:

Thunderball (favorite James Bond)
High Plains Drifter (favorite Clint Eastwood)
El Dorado (favorite John Wayne)

But overall, a nice effort, Czar.
