does anyone know if these titles will ever come to blu ray ?. And why are there so FEW blu rays in 7.1 it seems a waist of time having the extra speakers when most movies are only in 5.1

Nothing is reported yet on both titles. I think Titanic was scheduled for release but it was delayed for some reason.
As for the 7.1 VS. 5.1 it could be an issue with the 7.1 tech being mainstream. Even if you have a 7.1 I think at least you should be able to have it decoded. Then I maybe wrong about this. ![]() |

Titanic will probably be released on Blu-ray after the theatrical 3D re-release.
The movies need to be mixed in 7.1 for the Blu-rays to have it. 7.1 is still pretty rare these days because they aim for the theatrical presentation which can only carry 5.1 |
