Anyone know the specs on this release? Will Disney region lock the release? I'm hoping it's the exact as the Japanese Blu-ray.

Amazon.fr has two different releases:

EUR 22,99 - Blu-ray
EUR 27,99 - Blu-ray & DVD Combo Pack

The preliminary is that it will be Region-locked. Will have to confirm after it is released.

Yeah, the region is a concern to me, I refuse to spend $78 USD to import the Japanese Blu-ray. No way in hell will I spend that much, unless it is autographed; other than that, no way.

I saw it in stores and it was signalled as Region B on the back. :/
There's both a simple Blu-ray and a Special Edition Blu-ray + DVD available.

Do you happen to recall if it had English subtitles? I saw on Amazon.fr that it did but the dvdfr.com site had only French subs listed.

I'm sorry, I simply very quickly checked it because I know it was a recent release, but I didn't stare at it long enough to remember the subtitles.

Picked this one up today.

It has french & japanese dts hd language tracks and only french subtitles!

Ok, Thanks Marv. I guess I'll be waiting another month and a half. No way am I going to shell out $80 for the Japanese Blu-ray. No way in hell. Now, if it was a Japanese Godzilla film, that'd be different.

Region B locked, confirmed.

Japanese is DTS-HD High Resolution 6.1 at 2.8 Mbps. Not lossless, but certainly better than Dolby Digital 640kbps.

Subtitles in French only, non-imposed.
