This is just one of countless examples of John Carpenter being:

A. Completely Badass

B. Totally Awesome

C. able to Rock a Skinny Tie.

Beautiful. Carpenter has made some funky themes over the years.

To those of you out there that have seen it....How is the PQ and AQ on Big Trouble anyways? I wanna get it and probably will regardless, but it'd be nice to know if anyone has any input. Thanks!

I LOVE THAT SONG! Funny story. I was hanging out with friends and they were watching a movie called "The Boy Who Could Fly". I glanced at the TV now and again. In one scene, a character is watching a music video on TV. Suddenly in the music video, I see John Carpenter. Then I see Nick Castle (the director of the film, as well as Michael Myers in Halloween). I scream "WTF?" So, I hit google and discovered they had a fake band called "The Coupe DeVilles", and they sing that BTILC theme song. Awesome song. John Carpenter definitely has a sense of humor.

For $10 hell yes. I love Patrick Warburton's comedy and he was funny in this. I admit the movie overall was not great but i laughed hard a few times.

that's great! Well, I hope for your sake that they do release it, and at the very reasonable price of around $10...No, actually I posted on this thread because I was talking with a guy over on the "2001" forum and mentioned how I'm shocked that discussion on "Big Trouble in Little China" is at a standstill. It's one of the best Blu-ray releases I've seen, and the movie itself is my all-time favorite. I figured it'd be nice to chat with others who feel the same way, but I didn't want to load up the 'official thread' with a bunch of people just goofing around so I picked this one...

I also love Big Trouble In Little China but i also love almost all John Carpenter movies. That guy is a genius and i am happy he is back to directing.

You mean, you don't think the song should've been nominated for a 'Grammy,' or the video an 'MTV award?'

One of my favorite parts is when Kurt Russell asks what the drink is that Egg made for them, and Egg replies, "Huge Buzz!"

My son has the same sense of humor as I, and whenever he comes home, we throw it on and laugh it up. He will be coming home on leave from Iraq in a couple of months, and I can hardly wait to put it in the BD player!
