So I thought this might be a good place to list the releases with Amaray cases that are not colored in the usual blue.

Afro Samurai Resurrection (Japan) might be in a black case, but I will have confirmation tomorrow.

The database seems to show 11 individual titles. Can you confirm all 11 or just those 6? I don't need another photo, just a reply.

Regarding the Kurosawa box, here's a quick mobile pic of my box (still unopened). The discs inside are in black cases. My box is an "outlet version", whatever that means, got it rather cheaply for about 8000 yen. Anyway, I've seen these boxes in stores several times and the cases have been always black in the boxset version. Regular single-disc releases of these movies are in blue cases though as mentioned.

First off - thank you for taking the time to come up with this list! I only knew about the orange Halloween II case from France. I love the variations in cases and would like to own one of each. It may be crazy to spend money just on cases, but I feel it would make my movie library more unique.

So for different colors, I see that we have red, orange, yellow, green and blue already exist in the U.S., purple, white, black, pink and clear. I'm not sure what other colors they could come up with? Maybe silver and gold?

I am using one of the HD DVD cases for my Carrie BluRay. I always thought the HD cases looked more maroon than red. Another member also "created" this mossy green cover for The Day the Earth Stood Still:

I'm going to be honest with everyone and say that the list in the first post is annoying for me to keep up with. I'm a slow typist because of motor skills and it takes forever for me to get the titles in the OCD-esque format I like. So if any moderator wants to open the post and edit it, please feel free. A bit late but they are slightly thicker than the usual thin U.S. cases but less thick than the usual thick UK cases. About in the middle of those two types. There are quite many Japanese releases with this kind of in-between cases.

I roughly measured the thickness:

- Typical thin "US" case: 0.9 cm
- Death Note cases: 1.1 cm
- Typical thick "UK" case: 1.3 cm
