Why does Spider-Man 3 cost so much? - Blu-ray Forum

Two reasons, I think.

1. It made so much in the theaters and they think people will pay it no matter what.
2. or, they want you to buy the trilogy.

they wan't u to buy the trilogy which is comparitively way cheaper if all individual movies were same price

and besides this is the first time i think that a box-set is gonna sell more than a single version simply cuase of 1 reason not a lot of ppl liked the third movie

i think is because the contents...rememebr each disc will be 50gb....and the extra features are 1080p...

Do a search on the forums page, as people have already commented on this. Also, $50 is the MSRP, and retailers never sell it at that price.

has anyone seen the cover they've displayed for the spider-man trilogy on amazon.com?

they finally put a cover for it with the BD logo!
