Arrow Woody Allen's Untitled Movie.

Hey,

Woody Allen got a new project in his hands. Marion Cotillard (9, Inception) Will star in the film. Her character will be opposite to Owen Wilson's character The film will be set in Paris.

Here is more:

Quote:
Woody Allen has found another muse to feature in his movies. Allen has cast French Oscar winning actress Marion Cotillard (last seen in Nine and in the upcoming Inception) in his next untitled film, which will shoot in Paris this summer. This follows his other new London set film You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger that will be out in theaters later this year. Unfortunately this new project doesn't have a title and, as with all of his movies, we don't know what it'll be about (and won't until marketing kicks in). Cotillard stars opposite Owen Wilson and there's been talk that France's First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy might have a role as well.

The news comes from Deadline Hollywood. We don't know much more about this and there's not much else to say at the moment. It's shooting it Paris and has a very French cast which makes me feel like it's going to be a Parisian romance or comedy or something like that. Interestingly, this is financed under Allen's three-picture deal with Spain's Mediapro, but he's not shooting in Spain this time. I'm a fan of both Cotillard and Allen and will be looking forward to seeing these two work together. Now if only we know more about the story. Oh well. We'll let you know if we hear anything about this or any of Woody Allen's upcoming films.
Enjoy.

Looks very promising. Allen used to be great at one point. Hopefully Woody can return back to form.

Allen is making his best films in years, with Match Point and Vicky Cristina Barcelona being among his very best. Always excited to see what he churns out these days.

Did you guys watch the Curse of the Jade Scorpion?

I thought it was great. Hopefully, this time around we get another good one.

Yuck. I hate Woody Allen. I have never liked a film he's done at all.

I was disappointed his movie WHICH HAD LARRY DAVID failed with reviewers. I was willing to give it a shot but it's more Allen humor than David humor. NO THANKS.

The collaboration with Larry David was a letdown but hopefully he can make something worthwhile. France isn't a good sign, though. He's a New Yorker, not a Parisian.

True, but many critics agree that Match Point (England) and Vicky Cristina (Spain) are among his two best films.
