Haven't found any word yet of a North American home video release, but the fantastic Simon Killer has only just hit theaters this month. Who else has seen it and can't wait to own it?

Estimated for August... still hoping for an announcement soon from IFC Films. Emailed them a bit ago asking if they had an idea, haven't gotten a response yet.

Disappointing .... maybe there'll be a foreign blu-ray.

You are able to rent it on Xfinity On Demand (and other forms, I'm sure) in HD though, so there is an HD version floating around...waiting for an official announcement from IFC films before letting myself get disappointed!

Eureka are releasing it in the UK in August. It will probably be B locked though.

Not surprised IFC is doing DVD only. They did the same with The Loneliest Planet.

Maybe not, though. The DVD for the film Antiviral was announced a few weeks before the BD. I almost caved and bought the Canadian version before IFC/MPI officially announced it.

The HD version mentioned earlier does look excellent to me.

Anyone know whether or not this Masters of Cinema blu-ray is actually region locked? I know some of their blu-rays show their region-locked screen, but you can bypass it on some players by pressing the menu button. Is it the same here or no?

I never thought I'd actually see the day where this gets a Region A Blu-Ray release and I'd be reselling my Eureka Blu-Ray (which I got a great deal on for a secondhand copy in excellent condition almost a year and a half ago), but here we are! Has most of the same extras as the Eureka too, plus a newly recorded Campos and Corbet commentary!

However I will need to wait until I get 2 or 3 releases I want from VS as Im in UK so paying shipping for 1 disc is way too much. Need to order 2 or 3 at once to make it worthwhile.

That was an early screener copy, not a pre-order. Maybe you'll get lucky though.
