It's pretty awesome actually. The PQ is typically as good as DVD and I have had very few problems with it in the 4+ months I've been using the service. I would say the only drawback is that they need more titles. There are alot of great things but it can always be better. Some minor annoyances in this department is that you can watch Lethal Weapon 3 but not 2 or 1, Revenge of the Nerds 2 but not one, just kind of annoying but it's definitely worth it.

I love it, never had any lag problems except sometimes in the bedroom, but I'm running the wireless adapter in there. It adjusts the connection speed and works fine about 10 minutes in or so, but I've also got a lot going through my router at any given time too.

The only complaint I have is the inabilty to add films to my que through the 360 in addition to adding them on the computer.

I think it's great for tv shows, like 30 Rock and Heroes because they are in HD. But movie wise they are lacking and that is why I have BDs it is a nice bonus to being a gold member on XBL though.

I've been using it the last few months to get caught up on Lost. I'm in season 5 now and I love it.

I like it. I recently cancelled Starz, but I can still watch Spatacus Blood and Sand on Netfix. It's also a great way to see a lot of indie films that you might never give consideration otherwise.

Love netflix...wish they had the whole list of streaming videos/shows on it because your instant queue can only hold 375-400...Quality varies from video/show to your net connection...

I didn't renew my Xbox Gold membership when it expired Feb 1 (I had it one year). I used it primarily to watch streaming Netflix. It was nice watching some old shows but since it doesn't have 5.1 or 1080 yet then I will hold off renewing until some other time.

Busy catching up on my blu ray purchases but will likely renew my Xbox Gold when the tech gets a little better.

I use it quite a bit, and for the most part I've been very happy with the quality. They don't have many new movies on there, but they have a lot of really good movies that I've never seen before, and have always wanted to check out. Also, the TV shows are great. However, I am still a little bit sore at them for removing Jericho from instant after I'd just watched the first 2 episodes.

Love streaming Netflix on my 360. Kids love it as well. Lots of TV shows and movies to stream instantly. Kinda wish they just had the instant streaming option membership without needing to have a DVD out. I never get around to watching those DVDs.

Favorite show I found on Netflix is The IT Crowd. Hilarious british tv show! 3 seasons are currently up on Netflix. Definately check it out if you like to laugh.

It seems like it was only up for a week or so. I watched the first 2 episodes, and enjoyed it. Went to watch episode three the next day, and it was gone.

it was there a few months ago. i had it for along time before i watched it. great series, bad ending. they left alot of questions & there were several paths to take story. writers strike killed that show. maybe it will pop up again. some of the other movies have come & gone before.

okay so I am a new owner (2 days) and I thought as long as you have a Netflix account you can stream. How does the membership come into play? (I REALLY am a newbie so I still have to figure out how to even set this up. May nee to get another modem for in my theater unless I can use the wireless in my iMac. still learning) so thanks for any infor.

hope that helps. you will need a router, a long cat 5(6) cable, or you can use the network bridge feature on you laptop (assuming mac can do it). i have done all 3. i preferred to have it wired to prevent dropped connections. i have not had streaming issues & i use an older g-router.

well that sucks. i wish i had known you have to fork out 45.00 to stream on the Xbox. Guess I'll be getting a Roku.

the cost per year is not that much considering what you get with going live. you could always just get a 3 month card & try it out.

I just wish it a price had been quoted somewhere about the membership fee. Coming to this absolutely cold I read reviews of all the systems and then did the research on the Xbox and they all said you needed the membership to play online (which I have no need for at all) but never said this is the fee. Even when I went to sign up for the membership, I went through 3 menus (one asking for my billing info which caught me by surprise) and still there was no mention of the price. Oh well, not that big a deal but I may have to think about this.
