Is there a new firmware for the oppo? When I turn my player on is says there is but I don't see anything on oppo.com

This is the latest on their website and what I have in my unit. Haven't heard anything about something new.

probably because you don't have the latest on mentioned installed yet.

I called oppo and I was told it's because I must be missing part of the firmware. I downloaded it and don't get the notice anymore...

Call me curious...why didn't you just download the firmware from the start when it told you? Instead of going thru the hassle of checking for it on oppo's website...calling them...and on here.
