best buy price matching question

If i purchased a game from best buy for 59.99 last week and at walmart this week the game is 39.99 can i get best buy to price match it? Just curious thanks.

I wouldn't count on it. If BB lowered their price within (I think) 14 days then you may get lucky if you have a receipt but as far as throwing another store into the mix...I higly doubt it.

Yes, you have 30 days from date of purchase to price match either Best Buy's own price or a competitors if the price of your item drops (it's right there on their receipt ). They used to give you back 110% if you were price matching a competitor after a purchase....i'm not sure if they do that anymore so you'll have to check current policies.

Here you go:

If you find a lower advertised price on the same available brand and model prior to your purchase or during the exchange and return period, we will match that price. Simply bring in the ad of the local retail competitor or Best Buy, while the lower price is in effect and receive your price match.

They used to do it, not sure if it's still their policy.

It used to be if you found a lower price anywhere within the return period of a purchase they would credit you the difference. I'm guessing they will do this since nothing is really keeping you from buying the lower priced item at the other store and returning it to Best Buy for your money back at the higher price. They would rather get your business than have to refund you completely.

I agree with Suss.

You have 30 days after you purchased the item. What you need is the receipt (proof of purchase), head over to the customer service and let them know. They will pull up the Wal Mart price tag for the item online.
