Grey Screen with HDMI
I've got a friend with a original Fat 60gig. He has it hooked up HDMI and is getting a light grey screen connecting straight to TV or through a receiver. He has tried different known working HDMI cables. The unit powers on and boots up but there is no audio and video. I've done a few YLOD fixes but this doesn't have the symptoms. The regular A/V cables work, just not HDMI. I had him do the A/V reset and pull power and wait. When he unplugs the HDMI, the TV goes black. So it seems like the PS3 is trying to do something.
