hello all,

FRACKIN tired of my harmony 880 recharging issue.

anything else out there with the same features without the rechargeable base thing?

I have the 890 which is pretty much the same as yours. I have the charger problem and other process problems. I'm going to give up and get the Harmony One.

I replaced my 880 with a One. Aside from the fact the charging cradle works all of the time, the ergonomics are much improved.

I have a 1000, but am seriously thinking of switching to a One.

Seems the One is THE ONE

I have a harmony 1100 and i never had a problem with it. I love this remote easy to use and pretty as hell. Everyone that comes over goes straight to the remote and acts as if they never seen something like it before lol.

I have a One and I can't say anything bad about it. I love it.

I seem to remember reading somewhere though that at one time Logitech was swapping out defective 880s that had the charging problem. OP if I were you I would contact Logitech first and see what the deal is with that. If they're still doing it then great. If not then spend the money on a One. I hear that the 880 is itself a great remote if you don't have the charging issue.
