If i run my PS3 directly to my TV and use and Optical from my TV to my reciever, can i still get lossless?? If so can i just use my Red/Black RCA cables to get the same effect with the setup i just said?

no, you can only grt lossles via hdmi!

Running optical out of the TV will almost certainly mean stereo, not even DD 5.1 or DTS. Most TVs only pass 5.1 audio from their own internal tuners, not from external components like a disc player.

As noted, you need to run HDMI direct from the PS3 to the AVR.
