Default Bell Witch: The Movie?

I did a forum search here and a few other places, and I can't find much information about Bell Witch: The Movie. Does anyone know anything about this movie from Big River Productions? It's scheduled for release this week on August 14, 2007, but doesn't show up on Chris' "New This Week" Poll. Does that mean it's not coming out? Any info appreciated...

I have seen the movie when it came out on DVD. It was supposedly a true story of a family being haunted by a vengeful witch spirit. I have seen something on the actual documented haunting and it's different from the movie itself. The story takes place in the 1800's when a family moves into a new home. Things are fine, then the oldest daughter starts getting attacked by this spirit. I don't want to spoil the rest for those who haven't seen it, but if you do want to know how it ends, send me a PM. I personally didn't care for the movie due to it's ending. It stars Sissy Spaceck, and Donald Sutherland.

No, that's "An American Haunting", and played theaters. (Same witch, different movie.)

This one looks like a homemade direct-to-DVD loser that--being of this New Modern Age--decided to spring for the extra bucks and become the first ever direct-to-DVD-and-Blu-Ray loser.
(Thus beating "Return to House on Haunted Hill" on both formats by one month.)

...Save it for a future trivia question.

Again, we are talking about this one and not this one, right?
(Particularly as the first IMDb listing claims it hasn't come out yet.)

From internet searches, it sounds like DARKPOET is talking about An American Haunting. Have it, found it interesting but by no means my favorite movie. Like ERICJ, I'm under the impression that this is a different, direct-to-hd and dvd film (the first one for high def). I've found the movie's website, etc, but can't find a way to purchase the Blu-ray. I actually liked the Blair Witch movie, even though it makes me dizzy to watch, but heh, to each their own right? I tend to enjoy films in this subgenre.

While I'm not sure when it will be released, it might have been moved to Sep 4 instead. That's when it's listed for release at http://www.videobusiness.com/info/CA6392234.html

Crap you guys are right. My bad, got the two confused. I knew it had something to do with the Bell Witch, just forgot which one.
Betsy Palmer is the Bell Witch? Holy crap she played Jason's mother in Friday The 13th. Truly a horror icon. I may have to rent this to see what it's like.
