Tinker Bell - Blu-ray Forum

The trailer is on PSN now and... wow o.o. Not a single scene is from the movie and the way Tink looks is completely different, not to mention worse, then in the movie.

I just wanted to say that so people aren't misled. The movie is actually very good for what it is.

I've heard this is a big marketing push for Disney. There was a story on NPR a few weeks ago about how Disney is trying to find ways to target even younger kids and that Tinkerbell is a real hit with toddler girls. I think my brother is buying this for my two girls as a gift for being flower girls in his wedding (or for Christmas, not sure).

The trailer never looked half bad, and neither did tink, herself. I'm guessing the scenes in the trailer ended up being late editing decisions.

I'm pretty sure it was the second one... both links discuss Disney's big push to more fully utilize the character. If you're not familiar with NPR, they don't transcribe the full stories, you have to listen to the audio. The second link is over 6 minutes.

got it, and watched it with my 4 year old, it wasn't half bad, she loved it. Video quality is great on it.

This was more a thread warning people not to judge the movie by the completely unrelated trailer. There is another thread just about the movie.
