Does anyone know why this movie changed back to $14.99? I wonder if it was on a 48hour sale? If I'm remembering correctly it was on sale $9.99.

there seems to be a consistent message from Amazon lately-- if you see a low price you better buy it that day (sometimes even that hour!)

love the bargains, don't really care for these 'games" though. My problem is that I'm always trying to get enough in the cart to get to $25.00 so my shipping is free....

Yeah I didn't like that restriction or slow shipping speed so I use Amazon Prime now.

Anyone else notice Amazon has quietly raised prices on many titles? Almost all of the titles in my wishlist has gone up.

I just noticed that today, ALL the items I had on my wish list went up... I am not worried though, as prices are always fluctuating...

I have been tracking prices of many items, across various product categories, at Amazon for over two years now. Amazon is getting stingier and stingier on the general level of discount they price items. It has been a constant creep up since Christmas. CDs are the most obvious trend, where Amazon is almost never the cheapest on a given item anymore.

They also seem to be experimenting with these quick drops for a few items, and then raising the price back up as soon as they hit some target level of sales.

I just used it recently and added an 11 cent book to my shopping cart to get free shipping because I was off by about 4 cents.

If you find yourself trying to fill your cart to make the $25 Free shipping, why not just go for the Prime membership and enjoy a YEAR'S WORTH of Free 2-day shipping and fast processing times. For $79 bucks you no longer have to think about shipping, order one item at a time, "ship as they become available" (my UPS driver must hate me), and it'll probably work out to about the same as you end up spending on non-critical items when trying to meet that $25 mark. At least, in a year's worth of Amazon shopping, I would easily rack up that amount with the deals that can be had.

Simply put, Prime is the best way to buy Blu-rays, in conjunction with the Deal Trackers up top, and Hot Deals posts on this website.
