I love it (I'm a R. Rodriguez fan anyway) but as the movie was made to look old, not sure what the result would be ...

I want Grindhouse with all of its trailers intact on a 50gb disk more than I want PT.

You are so right tenth, that is a very valid point you're making. the movie was made to look old, it'b be very interesting to see what it'd look like, but i'm sure i'd look better than an up-conv. dvd.
still, it's a wonderful movie, right up there with the new dawn of the dead, which i would also buy on day 1 if released on blu ray.

Those fake trailers were a blast at the theater and something I really missed on the DVDs!(with the exception of Machete of couse)

I still have held off buying the GrindHouse films, but lately I've been trying to decided to wait for a better rerealese (like the 6 disc sets they got in some countrys).

I'm sure they could fit the whole Grindhouse "experience" on one BD. Another disk of HD special features, and I'm happy (Though I could skip Death Proof.) Still want Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, though. Could be a cool BD exclusive.
