Default Never Too Young to Die (1986)

Forgot I ordered this until it arrived today. Oops. Watched it right away and HOLY COW is it a gloriously bad 80's action movie. Like... so bad. The Kiss guy as a hermaphrodite is pretty much all you need to hear. Uncle Jessie is Bond Jr. It's insane. I think the 80's music is the best part of it. If you collect trash like this like I do it's a worthy addition.

Blu looks fine, about normal for this kind of thing. Sadly no original poster art on the reverse side, that was disappointing. It has a "fan" commentary, eager to try that out.

Anyone else stupid enough to buy this one?

I've been wanting to watch this glorious trash ever since it was featured on Best of the Worst. I didn't know it was coming out until last night, though, when I was reviewing this week's releases. Definitely going to be ordering it soon.

Looks like too much fun to pass up. I was starting to think it would never get a real release.

I preordered the heck out of this! It's gleefully insane but not in the cynical way where its trying to be insane.... no... someone thought this was a good idea and that makes it charming and delightful.

This is coming out on BLU-RAY?????? HOLY SCHITT!!!

I have a rip of a foreign PAL DVD that I made a crappy but hilarious custom cover for. One of the finest examples of unintentionally (I think) hilarious '80s trash in existence. Five stars. I will order immediately.

Unfortunately it appears there are no extras included. They should have thrown on this hilarious mind-bending TV promo which consists of brief behind-the-scenes footage and interview clips:

Known about this way before even Red Letter Media covered it (I think either somethingawful.com covered it, or i-mockery.com, as they were both my introductions to good/bad movies with their on point and hilarious reviews), but at the time I wasn't totally committed to this kinda trash yet (as a teen I just thought, 'How can movies like this even exist?" Forgetting of course that the likes of Commando, Bloodsport, Hard to Kill, and Rocky 4, which I grew up on, were essentially bigger budget versions of the same cheese). I'll probably Day One this sucker and finally bask in the glory of all that is Vanity.

The VHS option on the menu is weird. They made fake tv bumpers for it lol. It looks like they took a bad VHS and then put more VHS filters on top of it. You can barely see it.

Oh. I thought, since this is the first page of the thread, usually there's a link for the page where a movie is for sale. My mistake lol.

Sucks that they couldn't nab Stamos for an interview. He's embraced the flick recently and even tried to buy the rights & rerelease it.

I saw this at my local today and hadn't heard of it so I picked up American Ninja 1 and 2 instead but now StingingVelvet's rec makes me want to go back tomorrow. I love 80's shlock.

Is this comparable to anything else?

Whoa whoa whoa, I am not recommending this movie. It's freaking terrible. Terrrrrible. Makes American Ninja look like Commando. I'm just saying it's fun if you like terrible, god-awful 80's schlock.

Speak for yourself, StingingVelvet. Vanity is in this, which makes it worthwhile and extremely sane to purchase it. She is a goddess.

One of those movies where it's so bad, it's good....I went to the movies with a buddy of mine to see this thing....seeing Gene Simmons in drag at that time... was....interesting...

Sadly, Vanity passed.

Haven't seen this one since VHS but yeah it's Miami Connection bad with actual actors.
