Will Collateral Make It To Blu-ray Soon? - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone hear anything about Collateral on BD? I've been watching the SD version, and the upconversion is good, but not great. There's nothing listed on High Def Digest.

Collateral would look similar to Miami Vice but perhaps a bit better. However if you like the movie, the PQ shouldn't matter.

Not sure if this has been discussed, but I personally LOVE Collateral, and I would love to see it on Blu sooner than later. Hell, the movie was shot in HD to begin with, so coming to Blu only makes sense.

I've been dieing for dreamworks to release this but I doubt it will be anytime soon. Although I must say, most of the scenes on the dvd version look very good upscaled

I would definately purchase Collateral on Blu. Not sure if we'll see a release soon as Paramount has their paws on it. Now that DreamWorks is free from them, I'm not sure who has DVD distribution rights & for how long etc.

Collateral was shot mainly in HD, I don't see why not.

I hope this great movie , along with "Heat" get released on blu ray.

Indeed, me too, I remember seeing Collateral in the cinema and loved it, also recently it was on HDTV and it looked really grand.

Really want a blu release on this one.
