Default Good Headphones For My Yamaha RX-V1800 Receiver

I might be buying headphones this week and I would like to know which ones I should purchase. The headphones will be going into the headphone input in my Yamaha RX-V1800. I will be mostly watching movies. I want to stay under $300.

You may find it hard to get an answer as I doubt many have tried a variety of headphone on that amp. That being said I would recommend a beyerdynamic dt880 600 ohm version.

I also have the 1800.. & has a really good headphone section for a receiver.. The golden standard.. HD600.. I tried 600 ohm headphones on this amp, & doesn't have enough to drive them properly.. You'll get plenty of volume but that's just part of the equation.. With the 300 ohm HD600 you will have no such problem.
