It says I need a memory card and I couldn't find any PS3 games in store.
I bought some classic (All 3) PS1 South Park games on Ebay to play on my PS3. Every game says I have to save with a memory card which I don't have and can't find in stores... Is there a way to save with my hard drive? Also all, but one of my games is Analog Stick compatible. Yet..... the analog sticks won't work with the games? It only works with the D Pads. Does this happen with all PS3 Systems/Controllers? I actually have an old PS1 system that just plugs into the wall and works, but I can't find a new memory card for under $60? It doesn't exist. All PS3 systems can play PSX games.
Anyway, as long as the virtual card has been created, you can reassign its slot designation whenever you want. In-game, you would just hold the PS button to bring up the Impose screen, and you'll be able to change it from there. |

as for making a memory card it isn't that bad. I believe (at work so can't check) in the game tab of the XML above trophies there should be an icon for memory cards. go into that and the options to both make a card and assign it to slot 1 or slot 2 will be there. once it's made you can save ps1 games like normal. I made a few and ported over all my original ps1 saves off of actual memory cards, because a friend had the convert cord. ![]() hope that helps. |

I'm not in front of my ps3 atm, but IIRC, when you start the ps1 game, you hit the PS Button. Analog/Digital Controller setting should among the options.
Though some ps1 games flat out don't support both I think. I remember not being able to use the sticks on some ps1 games. Though more "modern" games like RE3 did allow it. |

I always thought I was stuck using the Dpad for older games... Gonna try this out later in the week. |
