Motorstorm Not Working - Blu-ray Forum

Yesterday I put in Motorstorm and after the initial PS3 screen, things just remain black - my PS3 freezes. All other games/movies work fine. Anyone else have this problem? I'm wondering if it has to do with the update for the game I loaded or not.

Try deleting your Motorstorm game data (not saves) you might have downloaded the store file before getting the autoupdate.

I haven't experienced that on mine and I'm about 60% through the game. Is the disc itself okay? No scratches etc.?

I had the same problem. had to uninstall the time attack update.

That's exactly what the problem is. You downloaded the update before getting the patch.. Or vice verse.. I remember that happening to me as well. Like Shin-Ra said-- delete the GAME DATA in the top folder.. then go download the patch first.

If this was a known problem, the update should've been issued with the patch built-in to avoid the hang. People: send e-mails.
