Trouble With MotorStorm - Blu-ray Forum

I've had this game since September when I got my PS3, since then I've been trying to play it for around 30 minutes every three or four days, but I'm totally stuck now.

I've managed to get all gold medals on all events apart from the two on Ticket 18 (one is blocking me from two), and one on Ticket 20. I haven't completed an event in about a month now despite me giving up alot of time up to try and get the golds. On one the best I've managed is 4th, and the other it's 2nd. If I just completed those three races then I would have just the last race at the end.

I enjoy games that are a challenge but this is becoming frustrating. I am following the main line but it just seems like all my opponents gang up on me instead of taking eachother out near the end. There have been a few times where I've been ahead but ran out of boost before the finish line.

When you guys played MotorStorm, did you actually get better at it with rigorous practice? Where there any times when you would not follow the crowd but end up winning? Have you got any tips?

The races by the way are Rain God Mesa in a buggy and the really short track in a racing truck.

Help would really be appreciated because I would love to finish it by Christmas so that I can get started (and open!) Resistance and Virtua Fighter!

On the turbo boost keep on tapping x and you keep your speed with out the engine over heating and blowing up.

I thought they fixed that glitch in the first update because people were exploiting it online. Hmmm, I'll have a play again me thinks!

I am stuck on one or two races myself right before the final race and just gave up because the game became to frustrating. If you want you can try the mode where you just race the course by yourself to see if you can imporve your time and get the best route.

Rain God Mesa in a buggy is one of the most common ones people have trouble with. Try different cars. Some seem to flip easier and some seem to be faster. I forget which one I finally won with, but it took me hours and hours over several days to finally win that one. Another one near the end that I had trouble with was Coyote Rage in the dark with an ATV (I think). I never did win Tenderizer with an ATV on one of the tickets near the end, but I did get 2nd which was enough to unlock the last race. Anyway, try different cars to see if you notice the different characteristics on Rain God Mesa. Good luck!

A very good suggestion and something I ended up doing to help out on those last few tough races.

The game isnt that hard. It can be hard, but after you race a couple of times on a hard level you will get better and finally win.
