Lohan to play Lovelace?

Just when things couldn't get any worse for Lindsay Lohan comes news that the down-and-out actress will portray Deep Throat porn star Linda Lovelace in the upcoming film Inferno.

Lindsay recently said she would be announcing her next movie at Cannes Film Festival later this month but the cat is out of the bag. Wali Razaqi, the film's producer told The Los Angeles Times, "We've all thought that Lindsay would be a great choice for a while now, and we’re all convinced that she is going to do it." He also confirmed to EW, "Lindsay Lohan has been cast as Linda Lovelace."

Lindsay has not confirmed the news but she did tweet, "Can't wait to be on set again in lil over a month!"

Yesterday, Lindsay gave a seven-hour deposition in Venice Beach, Calif. relating to her 2007 SUV chase.
