I've posted pictures and some more information about the region free German-Set in the German-Section of the Forum. Considering the language options and disc count posted by Oscar Rothman in the first post, the US-Set will propably be identical except for packing.
Pictures and more Information. Last edited by Cap.T; 12-01-2015 at 12:49 PM. |

I’m confused. When going to the Amazon link for this product, it says “blu-ray” next to the title, as well as under "Format", but the options where it normally shows the different formats only says “DVD” ($74.80).
It seems this is the blu-ray version, as the DVD Complete series is already out, but it is a bit confusing there isn’t a blu-ray option under the different formats. The Product Details also only says “DVD Release Date: February 23, 2016” |

The price is only about 3.5 times more than the German version (for US customers who get VAT removed by Amazon.de). Sure, that price will go down but I doubt anywhere near the German price before it's released.
Anyway, mine is on its way from Germany. |

There is a UK release too, most likely region A as well. I'll wait, it will go down.

You know, I keep hearing crap about stuff going digital online only but I'm always disappointed. Ffs you don't even get 3d. If a digital download code like ultraviolet was for just the extras, now that would be useful. Eg, I watch the movie on my TV, as I should, with best quality. But I can just listen to the commentaries or watch extras on my phone where I could not give a damn about quality. But it it bass ackwards. You get the feature digitally, but sweet FAextras. Fxxx this rubbish. |

Anyways, I never saw the show, but I'd consider picking this up as long as the packaging is practical. It seems like something I would have enjoyed if I watched it back when it aired. |

Sorry for the question that most of you probably consider simple, but since this set is available in Europe, I wanted to verify something.
For international DVDs the buyer has to watch for NTSC/PAL format issues, but I don't see this listed in the descriptions of Blu-ray discs. Is this a problem for Blu-rays or will a Region Free disk from Europe play on US Blu-ray players and US HD TVs without a problem? |
