I've posted pictures and some more information about the region free German-Set in the German-Section of the Forum. Considering the language options and disc count posted by Oscar Rothman in the first post, the US-Set will propably be identical except for packing.

Pictures and more Information.

I’m confused. When going to the Amazon link for this product, it says “blu-ray” next to the title, as well as under "Format", but the options where it normally shows the different formats only says “DVD” ($74.80).

It seems this is the blu-ray version, as the DVD Complete series is already out, but it is a bit confusing there isn’t a blu-ray option under the different formats. The Product Details also only says “DVD Release Date: February 23, 2016”

I guess this bodes well for Chicago Fire, too, because the just-released UK season three has "North America" in the menu options.

The price is only about 3.5 times more than the German version (for US customers who get VAT removed by Amazon.de). Sure, that price will go down but I doubt anywhere near the German price before it's released.

Anyway, mine is on its way from Germany.

There is a UK release too, most likely region A as well. I'll wait, it will go down.

Hmmm...this makes me wonder if I should wait on the German Eureka series complete set as well. I'll wait till at least January to see if it shows up as a pre-order I guess.

It'd be cool if it does, I've enjoyed my German one so far!

I enjoyed the show, honestly I did... but it's weird that this is getting a BD release but so many other shows from Universal and Syfy don't. I'd love to see Eureka or Psych or Suits on BD in the US finally.

Yeah Psych would be awesome. I got it on iTunes so I re- purchased it there for HD, but the extras are lacking.

You know, I keep hearing crap about stuff going digital online only but I'm always disappointed. Ffs you don't even get 3d. If a digital download code like ultraviolet was for just the extras, now that would be useful. Eg, I watch the movie on my TV, as I should, with best quality. But I can just listen to the commentaries or watch extras on my phone where I could not give a damn about quality. But it it bass ackwards. You get the feature digitally, but sweet FAextras. Fxxx this rubbish.

The price won't be anywhere near as high as it is now when it matters.

Anyways, I never saw the show, but I'd consider picking this up as long as the packaging is practical. It seems like something I would have enjoyed if I watched it back when it aired.

It is so great to see a fun show like this on Blu-ray. I will definitely be picking it up once it drops down to a reasonable level.

It's about time! And to think, just a couple of weeks ago, I almost caved and bought the DVDs.
Now it's just a matter of waiting for the price to come down.

It's also strange that it's getting released so long after the show finished airing.

Sorry for the question that most of you probably consider simple, but since this set is available in Europe, I wanted to verify something.

For international DVDs the buyer has to watch for NTSC/PAL format issues, but I don't see this listed in the descriptions of Blu-ray discs. Is this a problem for Blu-rays or will a Region Free disk from Europe play on US Blu-ray players and US HD TVs without a problem?

Universal Blu-rays are 1080/24f or 1080/60 for HD and 480i/p for SD worldwide.
