Received in an email from a friend in India. Screenshots of Kabhi Alvida na Kehna on Blu-ray. This one is released in India I guess.

From screenshots, it appears DNR is applied

need to wait for more user reviews.

Thankfully, I am not going for this crap movie.

Yes it appears like BD shots. Asked my friend to clarify.

Wife bought the DVD and these screenshot look better than the DVD although the shots are not looking very good in BD terms

yea those have been up for a while now.. but i guess till we know they are officially out.. no point in buying... those arent even real cover arts

Yup. That's the only thing holding me back from pressing the Buy It Now button on DTPH.

Received reply from friend. It is indeed from the BD. He hasn't bought it yet. The screenshots are from DDR . Guess I need to update the 1st post with a courtesy.

Excessive DNR, low contrast, unnatual colors (greens looks artificial), Y Levels are extremely poor, another blatant, smooth, dull looking bd. The REM DVD looks about the same unfortunately. For God's sake they need to at least *try* post-processing. It won't kill them...

The worst thing I see here is the presence of a vertical black bar to the right of the frame. They could have easily gotten rid of that and thus made the picture slightly bigger.

They probably wanted to keep the original DAR intact.

Yeah, this movie was pretty weak. Worth a watch at least once... i've must have seen it 3 times now and i'm sick of it haha.

Why has YRF botched up on this one? Its a relatively new film and coming after their first set and most importantly after good qual bluz like Rocket Singh and Pyaar Impossible!

Could be if the DVD was anamorphic widescreen.
