Japanese release on November 20th.

Game notes:
-Etna's dessert got stolen, she gets pissed off, sends you off to find the ultimate dessert
-10 stages, 6 stages available at game start. Difficulty and gimmicks change depending on time of day.
-Prinny can spin (horizontally, vs sonic's vertically and sounds like it functions similarly), jump/double jump, do an ass slam, throw, etc.

I hate to rain on anyone's parade, as I haven't seen a review, but the developers said it is, and I quote, "the hardest platformer ever." To beat out something like the Ghouls n' Ghosts series makes me not want to even think of playing this game, no matter how pretty it is. Hint: they give you 1000 lives (!), and expect you to not beat the game.

I read online that NIS is discounting some of their PSP games 50% off this October (likely to capitalize on the PSP Go launch), including Prinny, which will now be about $12.99.

Anyone else planning on getting it at that price?

Sounds like it might not just be NIS games discounted too. Hopefully SCEE do something similar and start doing discount promotions more regularly after launch.

Sweet! October could be a good month for loading up the 16gb on my PSP.

That was one of my fears about PSP games going digital, was that it would be harder to get good deals on games. But this news helps me keep the faith... that I won't go broke.

Don't know but with the way Americans bit*hed about the 1st one i'll be surprised if it does(of course don't include me with those people because I loved every NIS of America release so far). Also one of the links on my signature I have even mentions what the American President of NIS had to say about that along with some other details for an interview(though the interview was in September so who knows if he changed his mind or not since then).

It's good but oh so challenging. Besides you know you always wanted a game where Prinny becomes a main character.

Yeah well NISA fans who are not me will be the ones to blame if it doesn't come out in English with most of them complaining that the game was way too hard and that it's an action game when they were hoping it would be a RPG.
