Default No HD format war in Mexico

Hello.

I live in Mexico, and I've been following the Blu-ray vs HD-DVD format war since early 2006.
I can assure you that Blu-ray has already won because in many countries, like Mexico, there still is no HD-DVD player or movie to be found, and I'm sure it'll never be. I think this is the case for all Latin America and many other countries.
There was no format war to begin with, so HD-DVD is already in its way to desapear.
I know the US is the biggest market, and most probably today sales of HD-DVD in the US are bigger that all Blu-ray sales in all Latin America, but I think eventually Blu-ray will grow to DVD proportions, since it is the only format here.
