U2 has announced its first concert on Blu-ray (if we don't count the U2: Rattle and Hum movie): U2: 360° at the Rose Bowl will be released on BD by Interscope Records on June 3. The Rose Bowl performance was the penultimate gig of last year's U2360 tour in support of their album No Line on The Horizon and was whot entirely in HD with 27 cameras. The BD will exclusively offer video footage from the forthcoming 2010 US and European Tours, which will be continually updated via BD-Live.

My wife is gonna love this! Myself not a huge U2 fan but they have something for everyone! Waiting for my copy of anything Tool in HD.

MJK and crew need to release a definative collection of tunes from their live shows over the years in HD. I'm sure I'm not the only fan asking for this!

Every Best Buy near me kept this off the shelves till today...and all 3 BB's only have less than 3 discs in stock. Thank God for the in-store pickup. My copy is now waiting for me. I just have to wait till the Yankee game is over...my 1st time in new Stadium.

Picked it up this AM at the BestBuy here. Only 3 copies. I wonder if this was short shipped for a reason?
My copy was $16.99...came out to $11.51 for some odd reason.

Could someone with a good scanner scan the standard edition cover for me?

The BD cover in the Deluxe Edition is DVD-sized, so I'd like to move that disc into a Viva Elite case.

I actually think that McGuiness retiring might be a good thing. Their new manager will hopefully get U2 up to date with how musicians in the 21st century work (with social media and all). I love Ordinary Love, btw. Can't wait for the next album.
