Naruto - (The Show and Manga)

Hey I didn't see any thread for this but I didn't know where I should post wondered if anybody on the blur ray forums(like me) watch Naruto or any anime fo rthat matter, and read the Manga's as well.

If So let the discussion develop

I watch anime but don't read manga. I generally stay away from most Shonen Jump stuff though because I hate how much filler they have in the stories.

I want to see the Haruhi movie. I still need to see 5 Centimeters Per Second also.

There are Naruto fans on this board that I've seen. I'm just not one of them.

I'm very well versed in the Anime genre, I should kind of localize the forum so It could be for all Anime since I didn't see a forum for that yet either.

I like LOTS of stuff, anime included. I am not a fan of the Naruto anime cause of how slooooooow it is going >_<
However, I do keep up with the Manga each week. It really is interesting where they are taking this series. That and I am determined to see it out to the end, even if they make it absolutely unbearable to read, haha! I won't spoil anything for anybody, but the latest chapter, s**t just got interesting!

My favorite all time anime series is still Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. But I think that's because it has a bit of everything that's so stereotypical in anime but then everything it does is just so amazing at the same time.

Eva used to be my favorite but after I saw Gurren it quicky was replaced. Haruhi would be third followed by Gantz.

Mikejet - hey I see your into the Pure Anime, I see exactly what you watch I'm seen all but am only familiar with the Gantz you've mentioned, WoW a pure anime watcher I knew they were in here.

Mumps - Thi sis why I posted this, yeah this weeks manga from Naruto was insane next weeks will be epic, I'm pretty sure after next week their will be break tho. I want to talk about it lol.....It was just so epic.

You read one piece or bleach too??

Haven't paid attention to Naruto or Bleach in the last 2 months. I think Bleach is still on its 3 month filler. Not sure where Naruto is except I know its WAAAAAYYYYYY behind the Mangas.

L.turner3 I love You....I wonder if you will ever see this, I don't know how to work this but that guy is right, the Naruto filler sucks.....I know we had a herendous fight yesterday and I want us to better communicate.....we need to talk, in a civilized manner. i have been blowing up about things that i should have just talked to you about befoer they built all this resentment, independant of my fear of how you'd recieve it. We have to make this work, i just want us to be happy and have a healthy fun relationship. i will try harder to communicate more effectively without being rude or loud and hopefully together we can arrive at some soultion to better intereact and communicate. i love you

I read Bleach, but I never continued One Piece. I have read 2 volumes of it so far, and will probably pick it up again at some point.

Yeam man a lot has happened(big naruto fan check my avatar)

I do read the manga I know a lot of what happens pass the episodes so far, but it still cool to see the Pain Naruto Fight in full color.

How have you liked shippuden so far???

I think it has been incredible so far. I've never seen a show evolve around a character in an anime and pull it off like Shippuuden has. It's just like the stakes are bigger. The relationships are more entrenched and in depth. So many fights end in tragic or potentially life threatening situations. The music is more intense, ominous. I love the Akatsuki, they are just cool. I miss Orochimaru, and it was too bad to see Itachi go. I'm excited for Thursday to say the least.

Yeah that recent chapter with Pain versus Naruto was epic, I was surprised cause in the manga that fight doesn't really get prtrayed like that, it seem swhat they did is extend the kyubi fight with Pain, in the anime it was no where near as long and epic.

I'm a huge fan of both the show and the manga so if any one wants to discuss it in detail I'm your guy! The quality of the anime during the Pain Invasion has been a bit sloppy as seen in episodes such as 163 where the frogs look incredibly dumb. Some of the music choice has been terrible (159) but for the most part it has been great. The most recent episode was pretty awesome despite the sneer it got for some of Pain's facial expressions.

I usually don't laugh during the more serious moments but I busted out laughing twice during the episode. As for the manga, recent chapters have been excellent. I won't give anything away since a few people noted that they don't read it.

I've joined a couple of the Naruto forums and it is amusing to see people get all worked up about the production teams doing the various episodes. I don't take it that seriously, I think what makes Naruto dynamic is the ongoing interweaving story threads, and not the animation quality. It's all subjective. I wonder if Naruto will be on blu-ray anytime soon, though the quality from Taka Fansubs is pretty good.

Yeah I can see a few episodes looking great on blu-ray while the Taka 720p episodes blows pretty much everything else out of the water. I agree with what you said tho I hope that we get another arc with Naruto and the rookies going off to face

Cool to see we have someone else who reads the manga.

The Pain faces were terrible on acouple of scenes, but I always know their going to be a lot of action when they go into that type of camera view and animation style, it's very different then how the regular episode is.

[Show spoiler]Do you really think the guy behind the mask is Uchiha Madara whose coming after baby naruto, a lot of people believe it could be soemone else, I tend to think it's Madara.

LOL well in concept the next episode too me is too short, I wished they wouldve extended it alittle more.

It's funny though seeing as what happens later.

AnybodyLookin gforward to the Ninja Storm Game, recent interview sighted an Late October release
