Default ikea dioder set

Hey guys I just picked up the Ikea Dioder set and I am wondering how I should place the lights on the back of my 46inch sammy. Right now I have them lined up along the sides...(like the philips ambi-light)...I have also seen some with the two smaller lights on the side and one long top bar....what set-up should I go with?

I also decided to go with the set that was just white lights(the color's looked sweet, but I decided that white was best for the color perception.)

well I researched everything that is out there...costco doesnt carry led's anymore so this is the next best option for the price. I am not too familiar with the "do it yourself" set-ups, but I would rather just go with something that has it all in one package ready to go. I am glad I did it..it looks great.

San Diego one. When I went a couple of weeks ago they had the ones I wanted on display, but out of stock...yesterday they didn't even have the display ones

picked mine up on ebay and they are very cool....definitely need to get another set...got them on ebay for like a 38.00 buy it now. To answer the OP, the placement of them is tricky as there are so many possibilities....I definitely need another set in order to cover the areas I had in mind originally. Actually mounted the 4 strips on the back of my tower shelving facing the back wall, seemed like I got the best light glow doing it that way.

I live in Costa Mesa and have gotten mine from the Costa Mesa store. The lights have seemed to work out quite well for me.

they were indeed the ikea brand and the multicolor variety....not sure if that person sells them all the time or not.....just check ebay for ikea dioder and see what's on there currently....i imagine you'll do better than 50.00 plus tax in a store regardless.

I picked a kit up from the Costco in Temecula. They still have a bunch, I never noticed them here in San Diego.

I just went to the one in Costa Mesa and the White set was advertised for $39.99. I got to the checkout and they were $59.99! WTF? I didn't buy them...

Pretty sure I have an unopened set around here I'd sell for 45 shipped. The closest Ikea is 200+ km away so when we went I bought extras heh.
