Hey Guys,
I recently upgraded a few things in my HT setup (pics to come) and one of those upgrades was wall mounting my 50" Panny. All wires have been tucked away (CL2 rated HDMI cables, and an indepent power cord for the Panny). Now, I was wondering about the IKEA Dioder light kits. I want to keep the kit I have on my plasma, since it looks damn cool, but I don't have an additional outlet behind the screen and running wires below the screen isnt an option. On the Dioder kits transfomer it mentiones that from the input (wall-to-transformer) is 120v and the output (transformer-to-lights) is only 12DC, can I use these in wall since this is fairly low wattage or can it cause an issue ? BTW, I'm not certain if this question is posted in the proper section.... sorry if it isnt. |
