I think that is one of the first pairs of non-black CM's I have seen in a gallery. Very nice!

One suggestion I would make is to pull the speakers to the front of the cabinet. This will help reduce the reflections off the top and you may hare you dialog better.

Very clean and well hidden/integrated into the living space.

Hello Joe!

As I said in the gallery, elegant and tastefully done.
How do you like the Arcam AVR600? What made you select it over the competitors?

The Arcam sonically is amazing, but does have some annoying bugs that Arcam is still working out. The sound definitely outweighs the negative.

I ultimately decided on the AVR 600 because of the superior sound quality for 2 channel music.

It's always nice to see analogue and Nordost cables, especially in the same system! :-)

Hello again Joe.

Please forgive my curiosity. I'm always interested in system configuration, concepts and functionality. When you say "some annoying bugs", what do you mean exactly? Have you had handshake issues with the HDMI (Oppo BDP-83) connectivity? How does it handle bass management with multi-channel audio?

Sure no problem. The bugs that many of owners of the AVR 600 experience are;

Lockups, HDMI handshake issues, etc. If you are interested in AVR 600 i would recommend visiting the following thread on AVS Fourm http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1062971.

I have not had many issues with the Oppo it works quite well.

Default Britania Series

Joe,

I've been meaning to tell you...Did you know that REL is replacing the Britania Series with the Gibraltar series. I was this close to pulling the trigger on the B1 a few months back and I am just ecstatic that I got the Nordost Thor instead Here's the article on the Gibraltar http://bitstream.soundandvisionmag.c...-supersub.html

Hi Rhett,

I remember reading something about it a while back, thanks for the article. My dealer was going to give me a sweet deal on the B1 but once my wife saw how big it was.... Well that's why I have the B2.
