The original, and the best. I will buy all these when I visit Florida in 8 weeks, should help boost sales, and add to the 3 I bought this week, and the 20 other titles I am looking at before xmas.

Does anyone know who owns the rights to Evil Dead I?

There really aren't that many great horror films, but all of these fall into that category. The Shining is one of my favorites and it's coming out on October 23rd.
Halloween just got a whole lot more interesting.

ONE FORMAT TO RULE THEM ALL.

Those covers give no mention of video codecs or whether they're progressive or interlaced .

I really hope Halloween is PCM, since they've done enough work to remaster the sound that it should make a difference.

These (Halloween, Evil Dead 2, Dawn of the Dead, & Day of the Dead) are pretty much my most anitcipated titles this fall on either format.

I'm sure the specs for Halloween say it is PCM.

99.9% sure...

I knew nothing about the masters of horror series (no cable tv), but went to their website and watched some clips. Immediately pre-ordered the whole set.
