Default crank 2 - high voltage factory defect

I bought Crank 2 - High Voltage, when i played on my S-350 it stopped in the middle of the initial downloading but the audio passed through (the Liongate theme came on thru the speakers) ..

Brought it to back to the store to exchange it with another copy .. Luckily i asked the store to try it first .. The same thing happen with the exchange copy .. The store gave up and willing to give me a refund but i bought a different title instead ..

Anybody out there experiencing the same prob .. ?

Yeah it's another situation where Lionsgate is putting out titles that require memory for the BD-Live portion or it just hangs. They need to get on the ball and start being more conscientious of the myriad of older players out there.

No problems on my Sony S550 [B].

Best of luck. The first one was by far much better. They went over the top, sadly.

I have a BD60 as well, and it works on mine. All you have to do is buy an\memory card and put it in the front slot of the blu player. after that the movie should play fine like it did on mine bd60

Yup, same for me; "Crank 2: High Voltage" on Blu-ray won't play in my Panny BD55, unless I insert an SD card with 1GB minimum memory.
What a drag! ...And Lions Gate is responsable for this MAJOR flaw!

* But that's Ok, they received a letter saying that they won't get any more support.

This movie originally caused a problem on my player, the only movie I've had an issue with, I updated the player and then gave it the old firmware back (I like the other firmware better) and it now works flawlessly.

The problem was that it'd go to the main menu, but nothing would pop up to say "PLAY MOVIE" or any of that menu, so I couldn't start the movie. The menu just looped like normal, but nothing to press or click.

Now it works perfectly though.

Default Crank 2 Playback

I have a Region 2 Crank 2 :-) and i did not have any problems playing it on a Fat PS3.
The whole BD-Live 'experience' is one I could do without.
Crank 2 rocks!!
