Question Why is Blu-ray.com still doing IFA coverage? What about CEDIA?

just a bit confused since IFA ended on the 5th. Still getting news on homepage with "IFA:..." headlines.

There's a lot of news to be covered, we should thank the mods for being able to give us all the news still.

The new stuff is still from IFA, but it includes pictures which the original news did not.

okay, because i've been submitting great (and some obvious) news about the coverage of CEDIA, but haven't seen the posts.

I do thank the mods for posting news in general, didn't realize my comment struck others as ungreatful.

We weren't able to goto IFA until Sep 3-5 so that's why the IFA 2007 coverage is a bit late, but we've been trying to get it online as fast as possible. Sorting through the photos, re-formating them and putting together the text from all of our notes takes time, but we're almost done. Just Sony, Samsung and the final BDA one left.

As for no CEDIA news, we've been busy with getting the IFA coverage online and Josh which usually covers news is on a short break so that's why there hasn't been any CEDIA updates. There won't be any photos from CEDIA as we didn't have time to go, but we'll be sure to cover CES in January

Marwin, you've all done a beautiful job. Very well laid out and informative stuff.
Top notch, then again it's blu-ray.com...what else is new?

Amazing stuff. I've thoroughly enjoyed it.

You, Iceman and Josh have made this the pre-eminent site for Blu-ray news. You can tell by all the comments about the home page being the first thing visited in the morning, and FREQUENTLY refreshed.

I use my Widget and don't have to refresh.

Iceman & Marwin did most of the IFA coverage. But Josh does a damn good job with everything else!

Josh's a rock... when he's not on vacation

What Marwin said... and we are also trying to cover EVERYTHING Blu-ray related on IFA + that we try to have quality images, that's why it takes some time. We have 3888x2592 images available to offline press as well.

We'll see what we do about CEATEC and CEDIA, but from now on we will cover IFA and CES every year.

Aaron: Actually Marwin did most of the text and I did most of the photos, it's just that we posted from my account

thanks for the IFA coverage. I think you should also do short report/coverage on CEDIA concurrently, then you can re-write it later when the cedia is over
