Best Current TV Shows? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys I finished watching The Sopranos Series a few months back, and I'm looking to get into a new series, preferably one that is still running. I was looking toward Breaking Bad, Mad Men, and/or Dexter, but want some more input. Thanks.

Breaking Bad is the best current show on television. I actually haven't been watching it live, but a few months ago I flew through the first three seasons on Blu-Ray and am totally hooked... can't wait to watch season four.

This is my recommended viewing order of Drama shows that I dig.

1. Breaking Bad
2. Dexter
3. Fringe
4. Mad Men
5. Damages

I rate all of these as 5 stars. But Breaking Bad is in a league of its own. The intensity is off the charts and the acting is perfect.

Both those are great choices.

Fringe is great also .

Sons of Anarchy - FX (only seen the first 2 episodes, but man, i hear it gets REALLY good in later seasons and i'm already loving the show so it gets mentioned)
The Walking Dead - AMC
Parks and Recreation - NBC (one of the most underrated comedies of all times. simply brilliant)
Dexter - Showtime
Modern Family - ABC

i'm likely missing one or two...

There is a reason why almost every person in this thread listed Breaking Bad as a choice, and many of them as #1. It is the best series you can find on TV by a mile.
