Default Get Criterion Studios on board!

As far as HD resolution DVD goes, we are ready for whichever format turns out to be the best choice. As the formats continue to develop, we will decide which is the best way for us to proceed and hopefully begin releasing titles. No titles have been decided in this point of time.

I hope this helps, and please feel free to contact us with any future questions or concerns.

From Criterion to me.

I suspect it's almost a form bot at this point, as I'm sure I'm not the only one that's asked them what their HD plans are.

Basically, they're taking the understandable high road thus far and sitting the format war out. So far...

Everyone should start requesting they release their extensive/excellent catalog in hi-def... and SOON.

Why the heck not?

You may recall that Criterion Co. was instrumental in supporting the laserdisc format and continually sets the bar for DVD transfers of older material.

At least...imo. *shrugs*
