New on the board - Blu-ray Forum

Hi, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I am new here and I'm just getting to know the board and its threads.

Anyway, my name is Julie and I divide my life between New York City and Mexico City. Last night, I bought my first Blu-ray player and two movies.

I don't know if I want to keep buying DVDs anymore.

The only thing that bothers me is the fact that some of the best special editions out there (like the Gone in 60 seconds Director's Cut or the extended versions of the Lethal Weapon films) do not exist on Blu-ray.

Oh, well... I plan to be here quite often anyway, so... hello, everybody!

the special editions will more than likely be released in the future. there's like 3 or 4 copies of some dvds out there. i myself haven't bought a bluray since over a year ago. mainly because i don't want to double dip. i know i'll end up getting it on bluray in the future. if it's something i "HAVE" to see, i'll just rent it.

I do it because of my job. I work for Nokia and I have to travel on business quite often. Believe me, it's not as cool as it may sound. I love traveling, but not for work. Oh, well... at least I like my job!

It's totally acceptable to post a larger picture here. There's also a thread just for that - if you ever want to see how scary some of the people here are.
