Default Movies you want to REBOOT

I think they need to Reboot X men... the first one wasn't bad but they messed up the other two... others

Fantastic 4

I know its not going to happen til hes dead and i'm prolly going to get alot of crap for it but Star wars.. start over on epi 1-3 i would leave epi 4 n 5 and i would update 6.. epi 1-3 felt like i was in a kids movie all of the star wars should be at least pg-13 i think they are just coastin on the star wars rep they know it will do well

and i would start making some bad ass new ones in the future

In my opinion X films were medicore movies. They deserved a better treatment. Sort of like the Spidey or Bat franchises.

eh i just loved the comic books and TV show when it was on as a little kid.. to me the movies seemed rushed they would introduce a new character than that was it.. they jumped to phoenix way too fast.. i mean they didn't even touch Mister Sinister..Apocalypse..Sentinels they were in Danger Room in the last stand but not in real life?? and the bosses?? hmm Magneto in the first was the best.. the other two being the government.. come on what about the villians?? thus X men needs a reboot

it's different if they were trying to make these movies more about race and rights.. but they didn't they made an action film and threw in some half ass story

Superman and Daredevil.

Liked the originals, but there's plenty more potential in both series.

how would u do superman? the only thing i can come up with is doomsday.. make it more a darker film other than that it's on of those hard movies to make cuz u know hes going to win and he can't be stopped...

back to the future would be a sick reboot.. make it more real like so 20 years from now.. how we as humans are mix in a bit children of men/ blade runner.. make it more a darker film

fantastic four is getting rebooted

also this type of thread would belong in the movies/tv section

this section is more for discussion of movies available and coming out on bluray.

The Terminator franchise - CGI everything and make Sarah Conner younger and sexier.

Indiana Jones - Again, more CGi than story. Throw out the fact that Dr. Jones is a teacher and just have him be an adventurer.

Die Hard - Pick a non-descript wrestler that wants to be an actor, throw out all the story and plot, and then have him just killing terrorists for no reason whatsoever.

Rush Hour - Make this politically correct with two cops of the same ethnicity, throw out the fish out of water element, keep the action going and keep the dialogue as minimal as possible. Its Rush Hour not Talk Hour, remember.

I dont think a reboot of the Terminator series is necessary they are now continuing the story in Salvation from the original two.

Him being a teacher is big part of why he does what he does.

You cant replace Bruce Willis with a wrestler. No one else can play John McClane.

Wow, I don't think I have ever seen a post where I disagree with everything completely.

You can disagree but honestly, what I posted is generally what happens when a series is rebooted. Look at Friday The 13th, James Bond, and even Batman. Many original story elements are jettisoned just to redo the character and storyline.

As for Terminator: Salvation...it takes place directly after Terminator 3 so what was the poiint of Terminator 2.

Default The obvious answer is

Of course, HIGHLANDER.

Starting with that POS sequel, and the just as bad "renegade" cut, and the awful series. Part 3 wasnt bad, just bland. Dont even start me on Endgame and The Source.

Highlander is prime for a reboot. Forget the alien storyline, the Watcher crap, bring back Connor and you have an awesome movie. Just remember to plan for a sequel and dont end it with part one.

Jurassic Park.
The first was iconic Spielberg material, the second not so much, and the third was just wrong.
Also with X-Men the third was alright, the first two were excellent.
