I really enjoyed this movie with ROBERT DUVAL and RICHARD HARRIS...it was the BUCKET LIST before the BUCKET LIST. If you missed this one its truly a special movie about life, love and the realtionships you never think are possible but once established, can never imagine your life without. Post here if you would like to see Wrestling Ernest Hemingway go BLU...

I was completely enamored with this movie. It was a really simple tale, on the surface at least. Delve deeper into the psyche of the men involved, and you find much deeper elements taking place. I'm a big fan of both Richard Harris and Robert Duval. Dealing with our mortality is something that people often times have to come to terms with, some better than others.

Growing old is a natural consequence of the lives we lead, and sometimes it's not easy seeing the world spin beyond us. It's my belief that Randa Haines captured this succinctly, along with the moving performances by these two legends of the silver screen. I could go on and on, but I'd rather not spoil it for those that haven't had the chance to see this brilliant film.

Count me amongst those that would love to see this is in high-definition.

Wow, I didn't think anyone else had ever seen this. Unfortunately, it will probably be a long time before we see this on Blu. Is there even a DVD release of it?

No, can you imagine? Thats a shame. I'm gonna tray and convert it from a VHS but we all know about that kind of PQ.....

There indeed is a dvd release of this - came out in 2010. I have it.

We're all in agreement on this title. With a collection of over 6,000 movies here at home, it's one of my all-time favorites.
