Image has teamed up w/ Madacy

Looks like Image Entertainment has temed up with Madacy Entertainment.

I rememeber Madacy having some awful DVD's back in the day Metropolis, Two Women, Night Of the Linvng Dead, etc. come to mind.

I purchased the recent Image/Madacy DVD release of "Alfred Hitchcock: The Master of the Macabre (3-disc set)" and the transfers are the same abominations they were when they were under the Madacy banner alone.

hopefully it will be just the opposite and IMAGE will do nice transfers as opposed to the garbage that MADACY put out....

If Image bought Madacy, that shouldn't change the quality of the Image releases. It's not like it's the other way around and Madacy bought Image out.

Well if they use the resources they bought at Madacy to produce some of the content and release it under the image title it could. As long as they don't muck up the awesome Twilight Zone Bluray releases I'm happy.

I'm just a pessimist. Hopefully they will go into Madacy's with a baseball bat and smack anyone around who makes a poor transfer.

Possible, but I don't see why they would change their ways just because they bought out Madacy. We'll see I guess.
