Please don't put exclamations in your thread titles unless something is actually announced. It's very misleading, because people will open the thread thinking there is news of some kind.

If a title has not been released, and your thread falls under the "Hey, I wish they would release this" category, then please post in the Wish List forum.

Called and emailed who, exactly? You know that a studio is not gonna tell some random consumer their future release plans, right?

It's got Michael Jordan, it's got the Looney Tunes gang. Those are pretty big selling points. Of course it will come to blu-ray eventually, the only question is "when?"

I was obsessed with Space Jam when I was growing up. I've only rewatched it once in the last few years, but it was still awesome, I'd definitely buy it on Blu-ray!

The only Home Media release i own is the VHS tape, i remember seeing this in theaters as a kid and owning a large percentage of toys and what not inspired from the film. Including toys from one of the fast food chains, forgot which, but they were like a puzzle that connected to make an entire basketball court.

I can tell you all why Space Jam might not be able to hit blu-ray or it will take an indefinite amount of time to do so. Because of Jordan.
If WB decides to release a blu-ray version, they first have to get a hold of Jordan, he is now a fanchise and a brand. He is not like any other actors WB can just write a check to and say, "here is your cut for our release."

WB have to get a hold of Jordan if they want that blu-ray release, who knows how much Jordan will be asking for it. And even though Jordan and WB are mainstream, commercial and a brand. Getting a hold of each other isn't that easy. Who knows what contract Jordan been holding for space jam, or until it expires or something then maybe WB can release a blu ray version.

Until then, much success to WB for trying to get Jordan's permission to release Space Jam on blu-ray.

yeah and Jordan is about getting paper lol that check wont come cheap.

I only saw this once when it was first released on dvd. I didn't care for it much then but I wouldn't mind giving it another chance. I may change my mind.
