Anybody got the Japanese release of the "Sunshine" yet?

Hi all,

First excuse my english everyone.

If I understand correctly the release of the Danny Boyle movie "Sunshine" (Blu-ray version) should already hit the Japanese store by 7th of September.

My question is has anybody purchased this movie yet from Japan? In case yes how was it and how can I get on hold of this Japanese version? Secondly how about the official European (or worldwide) release date for this movie in Blu-ray?

Among other Blu-ray titles this is the movie I'm most excited about this fall. I just saw this movie on DVD and I'm visually stunned by the beautiful in deep space images and the traumatic feels provided by master piece of Danny Boyle; I can't imagine how "AWESOME" this movie will be on Blu-ray version.

For those who haven't got the Japanese Blu-ray version of this movie yet is anybody here looking forward for it?

I am right with you. This is easily one of my most anticipated titles. This movie was so beautiful.

Shutter, this is a "must buy" for me when it comes to Blu-ray. I'm hoping that the Blu-ray is done with great care and is a quality product. Hopefully someone will post info on the Japanese BD.

The people who found the 3rd act dumb just didnt understand it. Same thing happened with Boyle's 28 Days Later... Ending was different and people say its dumb

Hmmm, i think your kinda right. I liked it myself but it definitely wasn't what people were expecting.

28 Days later though, as soon as those soldiers showed up the film just lost its momentum and atmosphere even though there were some goods scenes towards the end.

Yes that's correct, it's one of the best sci-fi movie I've seen for years..

I found out that the BR version will hit the Japanese store this month on the 7th. I was just wondering if anyone has purchased this movie from Japan and how it was; I'm also curious when the European or the worldwide official release of this movie will hit the market in BR version..

Can anyone help me understand the end when the Skinless Captain was trying to kill Cillian? Why was it when they fell down the side of the cube that they all of a sudden could stand up? I thought this movie was beautiful....I will definitely be buying it for BD.
