forgive me...i tried the search function but there's too much to wade through to get a simple answer for a simple question....

does PQ sometimes depend on how the movie was originally shot as opposed to how its transferred? is it possible to have the best possible transfer of a terribly shot film and therefore get a terrible hd disc whereby people assume that the transfer was bad?
