Default HP laptop w/BLueray
I just got a new HP Pavilion dv7-1270us laptop with a Blueray DVD player. Blueray works fine on the lap top display but when I use an HDMI cable to conect to my HD TV I get a message saying that the DVD is "protected" and cannot be displayed. I have tried several dvds and several different TVs all with the same result. Why is this so? I can find nothing in the "help" resouces on the lap top that address the issue. Why would they include the HDMI port if you cannot export the HD DVD? Do I need some special software?

Does anyone out there use an HP lap top Blueray player to view on thier TV?

I am really bummed out. I have a 52" Tv and can only watch Blueray on a little laptop display.

Any help or comments would be appreciated.
